Sales Representative/Account Manager

Position Summary

BookingPal, an Irvine based industry leader in the fast growing vacation rental market, is seeking a self-motivated individual with strong business development Skills, customer service, and a commitment to excellence in the hospitality sector to be its newest Account Manager.

The Account Manager is responsible for working directly with vacation rental supplier clients and creating recommendations/action plans that help them grow booked room nights and revenue from over 25 distribution channels including Airbnb, Expedia, Booking.com, Orbitz, Priceline, etc. The account manager will maintain and grow the high levels of service already established, deliver on productivity targets by ensuring inventory levels and promotions match market demand, and develop a strong network of relationships to gain support from OTA and other market influencers. You will also be responsible for growing the BookingPal brand by bringing on new properties through your existing portfolio, conferences and trade shows, and self-generated leads.

This Account Manager will report to the VP of Sales.

The compensation includes Base+commission+bonus+benefits.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Responsible for account management
  • Grow business through recruiting adding new property managers
  • Provide expert advisory services to partners by understanding key partner objectives, need periods, ADR, yield management, system/technology constraints and opportunities.
  • Provide meaningful monthly and quarterly performance reporting and create account strategy from data analysis
  • Act as a liaison between partner and partner facing systems and services
  • Represent company at industry related tradeshows and host suppliers at company sponsored events
  • Train new and existing accounts on company tools
  • Conduct system demonstrations for potential and existing customers
  • Proactively solve and address customer challenges and issues
  • Travel to markets, corporate office, and other off-sites as required

Education and Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in a relationship management role
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and experience
  • Industry and lodging contacts
  • Recent hospitality or Online Travel Agent experience
