Airbnb’s Business-Friendly Travel Collection
Business-Friendly travel customers are currently the newest type of customer Airbnb is looking to attract. According to Forbes, there are more than 250,000 companies which heavily use Airbnb for business travel. This includes empires such as Google and Domino’s Pizza who use Airbnb for their business. Multiple Fortune 500 companies are using Airbnb for their business travel and this is why property managers should strongly consider placing their properties on Airbnb.
What Does This Mean for You?
Property Managers with properties in regions where large company headquarters are located should update their status to their business friendly collection “Work Collection”, to ensure employees from these major companies are exposed to your vacation home. Your vacation home will be added to the Airbnb’s “Work Collection” (for Business-Friendly Travel) if it meets all the necessary requirements.
Now people can fill out to specific work collection, for the following collections: work, and family. Don’t miss out on the opportunity!
Here are some of the key items that must be included to meet the “Work Collection” requirements:
(1) Your listing type: your listing must be classified as an entire space, since corporate travelers prefer a little extra privacy to focus on their tasks at hand.
(2) The type of amenities you offer: the listing must have; essentials, Wi-Fi, kitchen, TV, Iron, Hangers, Hair dryer, Shampoo, and a laptop friendly workspace.
(3) The reviews you receive and response rate: a 4.8 overall rating within the year is the minimum requirement, along with a minimum of 5 reviews. 90% of booking requests must be responded to within 24 hours. By using BookingPal’s Inquiry Management tools, you will not have to worry about any missed inquiries on your end, we have you covered!
(4) Cancellation policies: Property Managers must use Airbnb’s flexible or moderate cancellation policy. While majority of property managers use the strict cancellation policy, Airbnb’s cancellation rate is the lowest of all channels. Property Managers that opt into this, will have an immediate advantage over their competitors.
It is very possible that Airbnb will update their requirements for this collection, so it is important to stay up to date with any changes that may occur. Once added to the collection, you are subject to all their terms and criteria.
